Landratsgarten

Saarburg

On the path between the waterfall and the castle lies a hidden gem - the Landratsgarten. Around the Belvedere tower, which was built at the end of the 19th century, there are several terraced gardens with seating areas. Here you can rest, relax and let your eyes wander over the historic walls that once belonged to the Burgmannenhaus. The special feature is the 360° panoramic view of Beurig with the pilgrimage church of St. Marien, the castle complex, the Saar, the old town with the mouth of the river Leuk and the vineyards.
