In a modern aroma-saving distillation facility, besides traditional fruit and wine pomace, mirabelle plums, cherries, plums, Williams pears, and wine yeast are also distilled. The region invites for extensive hikes and bike tours thanks to well-developed cycling and hiking trails. Interesting cities and excursion destinations such as Saarburg, Trier, Luxembourg, Metz, and Idar-Oberstein are easily reachable by car.

Depending on the season, year-round wine tastings and vineyard tours "per pedes" are offered from the winery to Saarburg or through the Ayler Kupp.
