Saarburg Chairlift

Enjoy the ride in one of the comfortable double chairs with magnificent views of the Saartal. A 700 m ride lies between the town of Saarburg and the mountain station on the Warsberg. Right next to the mountain station is the summer toboggan run, and 100 m away starts the 2 km long barrier-free certified walking path Warsberg. Bicycles, strollers, and wheelchairs can also be transported. On the plateau is the facility of the holiday park Landal GreenParks with beautiful walking paths. In addition, there are hikes to interesting destinations, such as the viewpoint Kreuzberg, to Ayl, to the birds of prey park, or to Mannebach. 

Costs: One-way trips: Adults €5.00, Children/Youth €3.00 (4-14 years), round trips: Adults €8.00, Children/Youth €5.00, Children under 4 years ride free. Group rates from 10 people.

Tip: Panorama Path Warsberg – City Center

Take the chairlift up to the Warsberg holiday park. Upon arrival at the top, the panorama path through the vineyards begins, leading down to the city center. During the hike, magnificent views of the city and the Saartal are offered. At four stations, you can learn about the geology, viticulture, climate, and sights of Saarburg. The path ends at the viewing platform above the roundabout, at the tunnel. The starting point is at the mountain station of the chairlift, duration approx. 3/4 hour. Note: not suitable for strollers due to the steps.

Accessibility: Elevator system at the mountain station. To use the chairlift, wheelchair users must be able to transfer independently and sit. The lift will be stopped. Certified offering according to Travel for All. Detailed information on accessibility is available.
