At the beginning of the last century, viticulture was expanded by acquiring vineyards and new plantings. Today, over 8 hectares of vine area are cultivated and cared for. The largest share is taken by the Elbling – by the way, the oldest grape variety in Germany. The Pinot Blanc and Grey Pinot now make up about a quarter of the vine area. The shell limestone soils are particularly suitable for producing very fruity Elbling wines and robust Pinots. The vineyards are located in the districts of Köllig, Nittel, and Rehlingen. The single sites Rochusfels, Blümchen, and Leiterchen belong to the large site "Nitteler Gipfel". In addition to the lovingly renovated rooms of the distillery, an innovative distillation facility has been invested in. The tasting room offers space for 20 people, where you can get to know fruit brandies, liqueurs & wines in a pleasant atmosphere. The perfect place to celebrate birthdays or other events in a tasteful setting. Experience the cozy atmosphere in the attractive tasting room with a fine drop. You are welcome to participate in wine and fruit brandy tastings. Comfortable vacation apartment for 2-4 people invites you to feel at home. Next to the house, you will find a playground for your children. A playground is reachable within a few minutes' walk. Wine tastings for up to 20 people by appointment are possible. Ham sandwiches available on request.
