St. Rochus Wine Festival in Nittel

The largest wine festival on the Upper Moselle offers a varied program.

From Friday to Monday, showmen, live music, market stalls, gastronomy, and winemakers create a unique atmosphere.

Highlights include the proclamation of the 21st Saar-Upper Moselle Wine Queens on Saturday evening, as well as the 19th German-Luxembourg Wine Happening with free ferry service between Nittel (DE) and Machtum (LUX) on Sunday.

Friday
6:00 p.m. Opening of the wine stalls.
8:00 p.m. Musical start of the fair with the band "Viezbuxen".

Saturday 
11:00 a.m. Segway tour through the vineyards of Nittel. Cost: 79 € including instruction, starting point: “Im Pflanzgarten” at the fire station. Registration via www.mosel-on-wheels.de
3:00 p.m. Opening of the wine stalls.
5:30 p.m. Festive church service with wine blessing at St. Martin Parish Church with participation of the church choir "Cäcilia Nittel". 7:30 p.m. Opening of the wine fair and participation of the Nittel music association and proclamation of the 21st Saar-Upper Moselle Wine Queens as well as tapping of the barrel with blessed wine.
8:30 p.m. Live music with the band "Phoenix".

Sunday
11:00 a.m. Sparkling wine and more, regional market stalls until 6:00 p.m.
12:30 - 9:00 p.m. Free ferry service between Nittel and Machtum to the Wäin-Schmaachen in Machtum (Lux).
12:00 p.m. Lunch on the festival grounds served by the festival gastronomy Krimmel and mini-pizzeria “Ben Venuto”. 
12:30 p.m. Musical entertainment with the Mosellandkapelle 1907 Wincheringen e.V. 
2:30 p.m. Musical entertainment with the music association 1908 Irsch e.V.
4:30 p.m. Musical entertainment with the music association 1927 Bombogen e.V. 
7:00 p.m. Dance and entertainment with the band “Timeless”

Monday 
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Musical entertainment with the “Rotlingen” of the Nittel music association. 
8:00 p.m. Musical conclusion of the fair with the band “Fooling Around”.
