On an area of about one hectare, Ramona Neisius and Michael Winkel cultivate Riesling and Elbling on the Saar and southern Moselle.
In addition to wines and sparkling wines made from the Elbling and Riesling grape varieties, the selection also includes traditional Viez (apple wine) and Viezekt (apple sparkling wine) from the region. These are produced from apples from their own nature-friendly orchards. The assortment is complemented by self-made liqueurs and fruit brandies from their own fruits. Wine dispensing machine with house wines open 24/7.

The abbey was originally built in 1331 by Archbishop Balduin of Luxembourg in Trier, outside the city walls. In the French-Palatinate war in 1674 the abbey was destroyed.

City Hall

The town hall, built in 1951, dominates the market square and its details are reminiscent of the baroque official buildings of the Electorate. This is the seat of the Konz municipal administration.
