Keimzeit - Singer Songwriter Festival

45 years on stage, 14 studio albums, 2 live albums, one album with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg,
two double best-ofs in four editions and many other projects such as the acclaimed ballet “KeimZeit” with
around 30 celebrated performances in Gera, Altenburg, Erfurt and Dresden.

In addition, there are more than impressive concerts in such special locations as since 2016 in the Sondershausen mine (almost 700 meters underground) or already for the 30th time in the Freiberg Tivoli. The planned special train trip with the legendary SVT “Bauart Görlitz” is of course also part of this series of extraordinary performance venues.

Keimzeit already gave 40 concerts during the Rostock Hanse Sail on the “Wissemara” and the “Kieler Hansekogge”. The sea has always played an important role in Keimzeit's songs. “At the sea, I find both calm and a
mental expansiveness that I need to draw inspiration and creativity,” explains Norbert Leisegang, who
has written almost all the lyrics and compositions since the beginning.
Keimzeit is so much more than “Kling Klang,” it is 45 years of a special kind of band history. Keimzeit
has accomplished what has become rare in Germany: They make honest music, and it holds up over time. With “Farben” against black and white.
After 45 years, there is much to bring to the stage. Those who know and love Keimzeit will surely be
there on this tour, but also anyone who has not yet heard of this traditional band should definitely get an
impression – it is never too late to discover good music!
