Wine Hiking - Schodener Shadow Path

The Schodener Shadow Paths connect true village history with a fictional story and lead on a challenging night hike of about 4 km through the dark forest and vineyard paths around Schoden.
Historical events form the core of the mysterious narrative – where truth ends and fiction begins is left to the participants to decide.

Participation costs 30.00 € per person and includes a guided hike, a miner's beer, and a small snack upon arrival, as well as two wines during the hike.
The evening concludes at the Gasthaus Bidinger.

The route has an elevation gain of about 120 meters. Surefootedness, sturdy footwear, and good physical condition are required. Due to darkness, light effects, and surprise moments, the event is not suitable for children under 16 years and dogs. The proceeds will go towards new information boards in the village.

The Schodener Shadow Paths are a community project of Weinsein and the Verein 1200 Jahre Schoden e. V.
