Gluhwein festival for the end of the season at the wine stand Saarburger WeinUfer!

In the pavilion above the ship landing stage, winemakers from Saar and Obermosel presented their wines between April and October. Every month, the winery changed and there was a new wine offering.
Additionally, non-alcoholic drinks, ice cream, and delightful small bites complementing the wine were offered.

For the season finale, a cozy autumn atmosphere right by the Saar invites you to linger. Warming Gluhwein and a friendly gathering ensure a festive conclusion to the wine season.
Fresh Flammkuchen (from 12:00 p.m.) as well as musical entertainment with Frank Staudt (from 5:00 p.m.) round off the event.

SaarWeinGut Peter Burens

The garage winery, SaarWeinGut Peter Burens, was founded in Saarburg in 2015 and grows wine on just 0.7 hectares. He learnt the tools of the trade from the bottom up, starting with an apprenticeship and then completing a business management course. He graduated as a state-certified master winemaker in 2016 and has been supported by his wife Eva ever since.
