Concert Global Kryner

When Global Kryner presented their first CD in 2004, the music world was shaken. It was love at first sight. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant: take the legendary Oberkrainer sound of Slavko Avsenik, blend it with global hits, add a pinch of jazz and a lot of playful spirit, and there you have the recipe. The Süddeutsche Zeitung was ecstatic and even rhapsodized about an "egg-laying wool-milk-sow" in terms of music. Moreover, a new verb was created with "verkrynern." What followed was a ride through all radio and TV formats like rarely seen before. Hundreds of concerts took place in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine, all the way to Mexico. After intense and certainly demanding years of touring, the band bid farewell to the stage in 2013. But the love has never faded. On the contrary. Now comes: Global Kryner "2nd Love"!

In the summer of 2024, the Global Kryner, led by music cabaret artist and clarinetist Christof Spörk and the Oberkrainer accordion veteran Anton Sauprügl, decided to make a fresh start. Trombonist and neo-fish farmer Martin Temmel didn't need to be asked twice. Markus Pechmann, now one of the most sought-after jazz trumpeters in the country, engaged singer Miriam Kulmer, a true voice wonder. Additionally, "Mister Groove," jazz guitarist and songwriter Andreas Haidecker, joined the band.

But beware: there will be no rehashing of old hits. The band is preparing for their comeback with meticulous attention to detail. New typical "verkrynerungen" must be included, yes, of course! But this time there will also be original songs to hear. One can be excited. Everything is prepared with a lot of love, just not for the first time, but rather "2nd Love"!
