Surprising and exciting, the tribute to SUPERTRAMP.The British rock band Supertramp was certainly one of the defining and most successful bands worldwide in the 1970s and 1980s. The typical Supertramp sound, featuring Wurlitzer electric piano and the distinctive vocal styles of the two masterminds Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson, is known by practically everyone who experienced that era.
John Helliwell adds a special touch with his use of saxophone and clarinet. The band Superscamp mainly draws from the "Classic Phase" (1974 to 1983). Therefore, none of the big hits such as The Logical Song, Give A Little Bit, School, Bloody Well Right, or It’s Rainging Again can be missing. With Superscamp, six musicians have come together who, with a lot of stage experience and a love for music, interpret the songs of Supertramp. The band was formed in 2021 during the Corona lockdown while producing some split-screen videos, where Supertramp soon became a clear common denominator. Since 2022, "Superscamp Live" has been together with the fans!
