Musical Gala

The multifaceted program presents the entire world of musicals in one evening. From classics like "Cabaret," "Grease," or "Little Shop of Horrors" to Disney musicals like "Frozen," as well as titles from "Dance of the Vampires," "Les Misérables," and "Wicked." Janina Jungbluth, Selina Petry, Dennis Klein, and Dennis Berghaus bring diverse musical experience and expressive voices to the stage.

They are supported by the choir "Blue Notes" from Osburg, which adds additional sonic depth to the concert. The singers are accompanied by an experienced five-member live band. The audience can look forward to an entertaining and emotional evening that reflects the diversity of the musical genre – from heartfelt ballads to exhilarating ensemble pieces.

Tickets are available in advance for 19.00 € (16.00 € for children/youth up to 18 years) at the Tourist Information offices in Saarburg and Konz, as well as at Bücher Volk.

Pilgrimage Church of St. Mary Saarburg

St Mary‘s pilgrimage church. The 15th century St Mary‘s pilgrimage church with its miraculous picture of the nursing madonna is located in the Beurig district.

Parish Church of St.Laurentius

Saarburg

A small cross chapel existed here as early as the 13th century, which was granted the right of baptism in 1370. Following several reconstructions, a new church was built in 1854, in the neo-Gothic style. The three-nave church was heavily damaged in 1944 and was rebuilt simplistically after the war; during this process, parts of the neo-Gothic style could be preserved. The interior of the church impresses with the “Grape Madonna” (around 1500), the baptismal font of stone (1575) as well as the stained-glass windows (1855).

Evangelical Church

Saarburg

The Protestant Church beneath the castle is a distinctive feature of the city-scape. In 1893, the church was erected in the neo-Gothic style using yellow red sandstone.
