How was bronze created 4,000 years ago?

Knives, axes, jewelry – bronze opened up entirely new possibilities for people over 4,000 years ago.
But how was the metal actually processed back then? How did people heat it, shape it, and make tools and jewelry from it? The process of creating tools and jewelry from fire, metal, and craftsmanship can be experienced during the bronze casting experience days in the casting hall. Here, participants can try out, research, and cast – following the example of the Bronze Age and using methods of experimental archaeology.

Bronze Casting Experience Days: October 1 – 4
Thursday and Friday: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

On the holiday, October 3, the museum is also open. The bronze casting demonstrations are included in the admission.
And those who would like to stay a little longer are warmly welcome in the café.
