LaBrassBanda kicks off the "Polka Party"!

The Bavarian brass rebels are back with a new album and an exhilarating tour! With their unique blend of brass, pop, techno, and ska, combined with Bavarian charm and a healthy dose of punk attitude, they have revolutionized brass music and thrilled millions. From "Habediehre" to "Übersee" to "Europa" – LaBrassBanda deliver one hit after another and create legendary parties with their energetic live shows.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Show starts at 7:30 PM.
Tickets are available for €49.40 at the tourist information offices in Konz and Saarburg!

Saarburg's Little Venice

The bridge “Auf dem Graben” offers a wonderful view of the small bridges spanning the Leukbach and the Buttermarkt (Butter market). The narrow rowed houses along the Leukbach have been resting on mighty oak poles for centuries. Originally, the Leuk used to flow around the city, feeding fish ponds and castle trenches of the “Saarburg”. In the 13th century, people forced the Leuk into a new bed without further ado in order to have sufficient extinguishing water in case of any fires.

The vibrant centre of Saarburg is lined on both sides of the Leuk by town houses from the 17th to the early 20th century and is a characteristic feature of Saarburg. In the medieval town centre, a ford led through the Leuk. The Schweinsbrücke bridge with a view of Little Venice leads to the main shopping street. The Saartalbahn railway stop is also located here.
