For many generations, the estate has been dedicated to viticulture. The grape varieties Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois and Müller-Thurgau are cultivated on approx. 5 ha of vineyards. As is typical for the Saar, Riesling also takes up the largest part here. Warm and cold delicacies from the regional cuisine or small snacks are served on request to accompany wine tastings. The wine tavern can accommodate up to 60 people.

Karthaus Abbey

The abbey was originally built in 1331 by Archbishop Balduin of Luxembourg in Trier, outside the city walls. In the French-Palatinate war in 1674 the abbey was destroyed.
