The city of Konz presents the new program of the multiple award-winning musician and piano cabaret artist Anna Piechotta:

I can't keep up anymore...
I'm getting older. The world is too. But the difference is quite obvious: my body is deteriorating while the world is flourishing with startups, AI avatars, and chatbots.

Every day, I face the challenges of technological progress, as if I didn't already have enough problems in life to understand things! Then there are especially the people around me: the mother who only allows her child to come to the children's birthday party if I cook vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free, my own child, who really can't expect any help from me in math in the third grade due to
my professional incompetence, the neighbor who knows more about me than I do myself, the outrage-motivated colleague who keeps being outraged about me, the doctor who can't find anything even though I'm sure I have something, and the tax advisor who I can't follow and who can't follow me.

Mega charming, ultra funny, critical, and serious, the artist sings about the complications of the world and life. But stagnation is not an option!

Karthaus Abbey

The abbey was originally built in 1331 by Archbishop Balduin of Luxembourg in Trier, outside the city walls. In the French-Palatinate war in 1674 the abbey was destroyed.

Konz

The market square is the centre of the town. A striking feature is the large fountain made of polished granite, whose lively water movement varies in many different ways. The fountain has the function of a water feature and invites visitors to cool off on sunny days. The Constantine base is a replica and was produced on the occasion of the Constantine exhibition in Trier in 2007. The original is in the Capitoline Museum in Rome. A fruit and vegetable market is held on the market square on Saturdays.

City Hall

The town hall, built in 1951, dominates the market square and its details are reminiscent of the baroque official buildings of the Electorate. This is the seat of the Konz municipal administration.
