Workshop: Moving Rhythms with Eva Krause

Moving Rhythms is a nonverbal language at the intersection of body percussion, dance, and theater.

In this workshop, we make music with our bodies. We learn to embody rhythms and play in harmony or in canon. We work on coordination, relaxation, and expression. We practice relaxing in the challenge and engaging in play together.

Be brave and give it a try!
Also a wonderful complement to the performance of Eva Krause interroptions on Saturday, October 17.

Participation is free of charge. However, a ticket is required and available at the tourist information centers in Konz and Saarburg!

Karthaus Abbey

The abbey was originally built in 1331 by Archbishop Balduin of Luxembourg in Trier, outside the city walls. In the French-Palatinate war in 1674 the abbey was destroyed.

The market square is the centre of the town. A striking feature is the large fountain made of polished granite, whose lively water movement varies in many different ways. The fountain has the function of a water feature and invites visitors to cool off on sunny days. The Constantine base is a replica and was produced on the occasion of the Constantine exhibition in Trier in 2007. The original is in the Capitoline Museum in Rome. A fruit and vegetable market is held on the market square on Saturdays.

City Hall

The town hall, built in 1951, dominates the market square and its details are reminiscent of the baroque official buildings of the Electorate. This is the seat of the Konz municipal administration.
