Club of the Month at Saarburg Wine Shore

Regional associations present themselves at the Saarburg Wine Ufer – the meeting point for all wine lovers in Saarburg.

In the pavilion above the ship docking station, monthly changing wineries from Saar and Upper Mosel present their wines.
In addition, non-alcoholic beverages, ice cream, and delicious small items to complement the wine are offered.

The Transportation and Beautification Association takes care of pouring the wines from the Peter Greif winery in Tawern-Fellerich.
This offers visitors a special opportunity: They can not only enjoy the regional wines but also get to know the association, its work, projects, and activities more closely.

Opening hours from April to October:
Friday: from 3:00 PM until dark.
Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays: from 12:00 PM until dark.

The garage winery, SaarWeinGut Peter Burens, was founded in Saarburg in 2015 and grows wine on just 0.7 hectares. He learnt the tools of the trade from the bottom up, starting with an apprenticeship and then completing a business management course. He graduated as a state-certified master winemaker in 2016 and has been supported by his wife Eva ever since.
