New Year's hike organised by the Wiltingen hiking club

Hike of the hiking friends from Wiltingen through the Kollesleuker Switzerland, with its impressive sandstone cliffs. The hiking route is 7 km long and is classified as easy.

Meeting point is at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot below the Wiltingen cemetery on the bypass road by the Saar River. From there, carpooling will be arranged to the parking lot at the Kollesleuker chapel on Dorfstraße.

The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. and leads through a picturesque landscape. Right at the entrance to the Kollesleuker Switzerland stands the free-standing Mushroom Rock. It continues through the romantic Leukbach valley with its small waterfalls and historical mills. Along the Maria-Croon-Weg are the Haselmühle, Upper and Lower Stegmühle, as well as the Herrenmühle. On the route, there will be a support vehicle from the hiking friends with chilled drinks available at cost price.

All hikers, including non-members, are warmly welcome.
