Saar Wine Festival

For three days, Saar winemakers and regional restaurateurs transform Saarburg's old town into a sociable Wine Road.

The Saar Wine Festival presents wine, plenty of live music, the crowning of the Saar-Obermosel wine queens, a musical fireworks display over the Saar, and the traditional parade on Sunday. 

Saturday
2:00 p.m. Cheerful get-together on the Wine Road with delicious Saar Riesling
7:00 p.m. Crowning of the Saar-Obermosel wine queens at the stage at Alte Markt.
8:00 p.m. Presentation of the Saar-Obermosel wine queens at the Altstadtbrücke stage.
Afterwards, fireworks over the Saar.
Afterwards, party atmosphere with live music:

Sunday
1:30 p.m. Musical entertainment in front of the town hall with the Serrig music association and the Ockfen music association in front of the Sparkasse.
2:00 p.m. Start of the colorful festival parade from Heckingstraße through the city center to the roundabout in Hagen.

Opening of the Wine Road in Staden.

From 4:00 p.m. Meeting point on the Wine Road, cheerful get-together with delicious Saar Riesling.
Children's program at the Kulturgießerei Saarburg, games and activities as well as crafting and creative offerings. Free admission to the Glockengießerei Mabilon museum. Homemade cake for the whole family.
