On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the club, SV Tawern invites you to a varied festival weekend with sports, music, and entertainment.
The highlights are the anniversary match of the Weisweiler Elf against SV Tawern.
A celebration for all generations with numerous opportunities to celebrate together.

4:00 p.m. Award ceremony for the Children's Olympics.

Rest area directly on the Moselsteig Trail with covered seating and great views. There is wine and water. Plus homemade cakes and biscuits as well as small souvenirs such as homemade syrup and jam.

Winery Biewers

Until 2009, the winery was run by Michael Biewers' parents, steadily expanded over the decades and transformed from a regionally typical mixed farm with arable farming and livestock breeding into a pure winegrowing operation. In 2009, after graduating in viticulture and oenology at the University of Applied Sciences in Geisenheim, Michael Biewers took over his parents' winery.

The Romans called roadside stations "Taberna," where one could take a rest. As the name suggests, the place Tawern goes back to such a settlement. Go on a quest for traces.

Winery Peter Greif

Welcome to the Peter Greif Winery Distillery. In 2017, Peter Greif junior took over the winery from his parents as the main winemaker.
