For three decades now, guitarist & singer Randy Hansen has earned a reputation as one of the world's best Hendrix tributes.

Over the years, he has released countless albums featuring both outstanding Hendrix jams & songs as well as his own authentic, Hendrix-inspired riffing. In a sea of Hendrix-inspired guitarists, Randy Hansen stands out and is one of the few officially recognized guitarists by the Hendrix family.

Having toured and played with the likes of Uli Jon Roth, Jack Bruce, Paul Rodgers, Mitch Mitchell, and Buddy Miles, Hansen delivers a true testament to the `father of heavy guitar` (Jimi) and creates, with his boundless passion, soundscapes that are infused with the spirit of Jimi Hendrix.

Randy Hansen is a consummate performer with incredible depth who captivates fans with his explosive show. Through years of hard work and tireless perfection of `his craft`, he has earned the reputation of a world-class guitar hero.

Hansen was engaged by acclaimed filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola to contribute to the soundtrack of “Apocalypse Now,” the Oscar winner for Best Sound in 1980. The film led to a record deal with Capitol Records.
Today, Hansen tours worldwide, due to the ongoing demand from fans in America and Europe. Whether with the Randy Hansen Band or in collaboration with other entertainers like Steve Miller, Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company, The Firm, Queen), Buddy Miles, Don Wilson (The Ventures), Alan White (YES, John Lennon), Sammy Hagar, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Cray, Roger Fisher (Heart), Bob Segar, and Hendrix alumni Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell, to name just a few artists he has collaborated with.
