Wine Advent market at the Alois Kirchen winery

Advent wine event with a small artisan market featuring friendly farmers and manufacturers of decorative handicrafts, live music from the Emmler Gehöferschaft combo and the Unplugged Gang, wine tasting in the wine cellar and a wine hike full of tales, legends, and mulled wine with the "Monk of Oberemmel".

Between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., wines from the current vintage can be tasted in the wine cellar.

At 2:00 p.m., a guided hiking tour of about three hours featuring tales and legends led by Brother Stephanus, the Monk of Oberemmel, starts, including sparkling wine and (mulled) wine for €18.00 per person. Early registration at info@weingutkirchen.de is recommended.

For your culinary needs, there will be mulled wine, a wine booth, hot potatoes from the steaming facility, Oberemmel wild goulash, as well as specialties from the Merzig free-range pork. The culinary offerings will be accompanied by regional exhibitors:

Musical highlights include the Platzkonzert by the Emmler Gehöferschaft combo at 3:30 p.m. and the performance of the Unplugged Gang at 5:30 p.m.
