Wiltingen wine hike

Hiking. Wine. Knowledge.

Relaxed enjoyment while simultaneously learning about wine, its flavors, cultivation methods, soils, and aging - this is what the wine hikes in Wiltingen offer.

The hike leads to a beautiful spot in one of the Wiltingen vineyards and usually lasts about half an hour. Along the way, there are fascinating insights into history, notable points, wine cultivation, and local peculiarities to discover. 

Upon reaching the destination, three wines from the explored wine location will be tasted, which can be purchased by the glass.
The wines will be presented and discussed, aiming to depict the character of the geography.
A sparkling wine is always included as well.

No registration is required, and participation is free.

On 04.10.2026 for the hike in the wine locations Wiltinger Hölle and Kupp. 
The Wiltinger Saarbogen is an important biotope, nature reserve, and agricultural area at the same time. In the narrowest railway curve in Germany, grapevines are planted as closely to the Saar as nowhere else in the Wiltingen locations. Explore the renowned wine locations Wiltinger Hölle and Wiltinger Kupp with their characteristic Riesling wines and stunning views of the Saar.
