Winery Nico Sonntag

The wines come from the lands along the Upper Moselle, from the home of Nittel and its surroundings. A total of 8 hectares are cultivated with the characterful grape varieties Elbling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Rivaner, Kerner, Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder, and Spätburgunder. From this variety of grape types, besides white, rosé, and red wine, sparkling winemaker's sparkling wine, high-proof liquor, fresh grape juice, and the #startklar wine spritzer are produced.

A wine tasting offers a nice and relaxed opportunity to sample the wines and assess them in a sociable setting. In the vinothek, you will find the entire range for touching and tasting. Additionally, gift baskets, vouchers, and regional delicacies are offered. In the heart of the winery Sonntags lies the freshly renovated wine tavern. Here, you will be spoiled at least 4 times a year during the harvest festival.

In the indoor area, 60 people can be seated, and in the outdoor area of the beautiful courtyard, many more can gather in good weather. Learn more about viticulture and wine sensory experiences during an exclusive wine tasting at the winery. Wine tastings are offered with and without food.

The vinothek is open on Saturdays from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (closed on public holidays).
