Sculpture "Großer Meteor"

Wawern

The sculpture by sculptor Jürgen Waxweiler was created during the international sculpture symposium of the Konz municipality in Kanzem on the Saar in 2007. Since April 2008, the "Great Meteor" has been standing on the Goldberg in Wawern and looks down into the Saar valley. From here you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the Saar Valley.

Wiltingen

From the 3-sculpture view you have a dreamlike view over the Saar valley near Schoden and Wiltingen. In the distance you can see the "Mercury" on the Goldberg in Wawern, the "Fire Jump" on the banks of the Saar in Wiltingen and the sculpture "Pasaggio Animato" on the Galgenberg in Wiltingen.

Viewpoint "Schöne Aussicht"

Serrig

Not quite as well known as the Saarschleife, but no less spectacular is the view from the Schönen Aussicht onto the Saar, which also forms a beautiful loop here.

Location: between Serrig and Greimerath on the K 139.

Viewpoint Galgenberg

Wiltingen

Fantastic view from Schoden over Wiltingen and Kanzem, to the narrow curves of the Konzer Kupp and all the way to Konz. The view down over the extreme steep slopes of the Wiltinger Hölle vineyard and deep into the Saar valley is dizzying.

Signposting: from the centre of Konz-Kommlingen, follow the signs to Galgenberg.

From the vantage point you can enjoy a marvellous view of the Saar!

Viewpoint Sculpture "Knie im Gelenk"

Nittel

The sculpture is located in the middle of the vineyards, below the rock wall Nitteler Fels and is part of the sculpture path Steine am Fluss along the Upper Moselle. The site offers a beautiful view of the Moselle, Nittel and Machtum and invites you to linger.

Viewpoint "Saarburger Kreuzberg"

Saarburg

The viewing platform offers a sweeping view of the Saar Valley: from Ockfen and Irsch over the Saarburg districts of Beurig, Niederleuken and Krutweiler to the Klause to Kastel-Staadt.
