In autumn 2007, everything began with a clear vision: to not only cover the fascination and magic of Depeche Mode but to bring it to the stage with the highest musical demands and genuine live dynamics. Today, 20 years later, Depeche Reload stands for exactly that – and much more.

From the very beginning, their goal was to create the perfect combination of authentic studio sound and the intense live feeling of their great role models. A special challenge that they have consistently faced to this day: Depeche Reload plays completely live – without programmed backing tracks.

Their motto still stands:
“We are probably the ONLY D/M tribute band that plays completely live –
and we are liv'er than Depeche Mode themselves!!!”

What began in 2007 as a heartfelt project quickly developed into a success story. As early as 2009, they were awarded as “Hessen's best tribute band” – an early milestone on their path. However, the true reward has been and continues to be the countless concerts, enthusiastic fans, and unforgettable evenings full of emotions.

With Hermann as the charismatic frontman, the perfect "clone" has been on stage for two decades. His performance is astonishingly close to the original – from gestures and facial expressions to the distinctive tattoos on his left arm. When you close your eyes, you feel as if you are right in the middle of a real Depeche Mode concert.

On their anniversary tour, they combine the greatest hits, selected insider pieces, and personal favorites of the band – a musical journey through 40 years of synth-pop history, presented with the energy, authenticity, and joy of playing that has characterized Depeche Reload for 20 years.
