Workshop Weaving on the Hurdle Loom

The workshop “Weaving on the Gatterkamm Loom” is aimed at anyone who wants to learn how to weave. 
The experienced weaver and course instructor from Trier, Mary Wächter, teaches the necessary knowledge step by step, so that participants can work independently on the loom and find their own rhythm in the craft.

The participation fee is 170.00 €.
This includes materials, museum admission, and the loan of a loom for four weeks. Participants can finish their started work at home and deepen the technique learned.

After registration, further arrangements will be made regarding color choices and individual design wishes.
In the end, a personal piece is created that not only showcases craftsmanship but also establishes a connection to a centuries-old tradition.
