Free street theater at the Konzer marketplace

The city of Konz invites you to a special street theater experience in the marketplace.
Join the free open-air program filled with acrobatics, comedy, and quirky stories for the whole family!

Opening the event is Carmen La Tanik with “CarmeLaster – A Woman and Her Vice”. For over 20 years, she has been living and traveling in her purple truck – a stage set, home, and co-star in an autofictional circus theater. Between hula hoops with knives and physical comedy, Carmen La Tanik shares stories of a life with 7.5 tons and tire-filled adventures, self-determination, and the art of maintaining balance on the road.

Following her, Madame Buqu takes over the vice stage. In her show “Happy Stoto”, the clown housewife demonstrates in an engaging and refreshing way how to escape conservative role models with boldness, humor, and a handheld vacuum cleaner. With a quick step and petticoat, contemporary clowning meets daring slapstick and mundane housework collides with a roaringly funny revolution.

Two shows about stubbornness, emancipation, and the courage to take control of one's own life – wild, funny, and inspiring for all ages.
