Geführte SUP-Tour Saar-Altarm ab Schoden

3.5-hour SUP round tour for advanced paddlers with a SUP guide, rental equipment for the duration of the course (SUP, paddle, leash & life jacket or Restube), brief theoretical introduction, proper body posture and paddling technique while distance paddling.

The tour on the Saar oxbow near Schoden is perhaps one of the most beautiful round trips in the region.
We start directly at the weir at the dam in Schoden and paddle into the nature reserve of the Saar bend. This area captivates with its wonderful scenery between the vineyards. Here, small rapids, many water lilies, and a few small islands await us. After about 5 km, we reach the well-marked portage point, which means the end of the Saar bend and the access to the Saar canal, on which we paddle back about 2.5 km to the starting point. The total length of the tour is approximately 7.5 km.
