Concert Pink Floyd Project

The Original Pink Floyd Project – a tribute to Pink Floyd – was founded in autumn 2003. The band from Saarland fascinates with its three-hour repertoire, which brings the success story of the band back to life, as well as with colorful light effects and video sequences on a round screen framed with moving lights and laser technology (Mr. Screen) that can be used depending on the location. Professional surround sound goes without saying.

But club concerts in a smaller setting without major technical effort are also possible.
In the repertoire of The Original Pink Floyd Project, alongside the complete album "Dark side of the moon," numerous highlights from Pink Floyd's other successful albums are included, including the less meditative, heavier pieces from "The Wall," such as the student classic "Another brick in the Wall – Part 1&2," which serves as a counterpoint to the program. Older pieces like Pink Floyd's masterpiece Echoes also find their place.

In May 2015, there was a significant reorganization within the band. Sabine Simmet-Raber joined as a background vocalist and Uwe Sicks was integrated as a new solo guitarist. With a lot of detailed work and new motivation, the band has developed musically very strongly. Almost all songs have been rearranged, ensuring that the goosebumps aspect is not neglected and the originality is maintained.

That no stone remains unturned is, of course, obvious, as tried-and-true arrangements always offer room for improvements, both in sound and interpretation.
