Trio "Meet Klezmer"

For 11 years, Helmut Eisel has been leading the festival "Clarinet & Friends" in Mühlhausen/Thuringia, organizing numerous workshops and encouraging young people at "Meet Klezmer" to take a stand against antisemitism and racism through music.

In December 2025, he was awarded the Saarland Merit Order by Minister-President Anke Rehlinger for this work.
Clara Wigger, his collaborator on many workshop and concert projects, is currently studying clarinet at the Lübeck University of Music.
A focus of her artistic work lies in the intersection of world music, new music, and electronic music. Sebastian Voltz (piano) studied piano at the Saarland University of Music and celebrated international success with the Susan Weinert Rainbow Trio – experiences that also inspired his first solo album "Voyages".

The concert will be complemented by the exhibition "Nebeneinander, Übereinander, Miteinander – Mixed Techniques on Paper." The works of Bianka Wilckens, a graphic artist, painter, and art therapist living in Mecklenburg, can be viewed by interested parties until Sunday, November 29, 2026, in the Wawern synagogue.

Tickets for the concert and exhibition opening are available in advance for 20.00 € at pascaleeberhard12@gmail.com or for 22.00 € at the box office.
