Sunday open for sale of nutcrackers in the city center of Saarburg.
On Nutcracker Sunday, the pre-Christmas season begins in Saarburg.
From 11 a.m., the city center is car-free and fills with market stalls: homemade mulled wine, waffles, tarte flambée, and more.
From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the shops in Saarburg are open: owner-operated and with time for a conversation and real advice. From 2 p.m., PADDY54 will perform with his acoustic rock show in the city center, and for the little ones, the children's carousel will spin.
To conclude, the parish community of St. Laurentius invites you to a devotion at 6 p.m., after which the Martin parade will proceed through the town. The finale is the Martin fire at the city parking lot.
