Mini wine festival on the Saarburg wine shore

Meeting point for all wine lovers - The wine stand at Saarburg riverside!

In the pavilion above the ship landing stage, monthly changing wineries from Saar and Upper Mosel present their wines. At the mini wine festivals, visitors can expect open wine tastings with the winemaker of the month, culinary offerings starting at 12:00 p.m. and live music starting at 5:00 p.m.

October 3: Schwed, Nalbach (burger, linguine)

4:00 - 6:00 p.m.: open wine tasting with the winery of the month
October: Winery Peter Greif, Tawern-Fellerich.

Starting at 5:00 p.m.: Live music

Opening hours wine stand:
Friday: from 3:00 p.m. until dark.
Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays: from 12:00 p.m. until dark.

The garage winery, SaarWeinGut Peter Burens, was founded in Saarburg in 2015 and grows wine on just 0.7 hectares. He learnt the tools of the trade from the bottom up, starting with an apprenticeship and then completing a business management course. He graduated as a state-certified master winemaker in 2016 and has been supported by his wife Eva ever since.
