Tavern "Wirtshaus mit Herz"

The inn with heart is located in the city center of Saarburg. The inn started successfully in March 2020 under a new name with the experienced restaurateur Norbert Feth as the tenant. Together with his wife Ricarda and his team, a varied concept has been developed for the enjoyment of the guests. The history of the Renaissance building dates back to the first half of the 16th century. According to the database of cultural assets in the Trier region, the inn was known in 1689/90 as Hotel de la tete noire - Hotel zum schwarzen Kopf. Emperor Wilhelm II is also said to have visited it. The bust above the portal of the main entrance has given the building its name.
