During a ride in an electric carriage, you can immerse yourself in the exciting history of the city of Saarburg with mobile virtual reality glasses. During the approximately 50-minute circular tour, participants will gain historical insights into the daily life of the city in the past at seven stations and experience significant historical events. Join us as the castle is built, the Leuk is diverted, the first mill is operated at the waterfall, or the butter market is illuminated for the first time with electricity. The new tour fulfills humanity's dream of time travel and creates unique experiences. Additional stations on the tour include the attack by Franz von Sickingen on the castle, a daily scene from the craft-influenced lower town in Staden, a bell casting at the Mabilon bell foundry, and a market scene at the fruit market.
Up to 6 people per tour can participate in the ride with the electric carriage through the city. Online vouchers cost €147.00 for adults (entire carriage) and €122.00 for families with at least 1 child aged 10-17 years. In addition to booking the entire electric carriage, single tickets for fixed scheduled rides are also available. The possible rides and the purchase of single tickets can be booked through the ticket shop. Rides for individual guests start in April on Saturdays and Sundays at 5.00 p.m. at the stop Am Markt 1.
