Traditional Quetschenkirmes under the motto "Hollandtour am Ochsenbuar" at the cozy festival grounds with festival tent, beer garden, children's rides, and fair booths. The festival guests will be entertained with live music on all festival days.

Friday
6:00 p.m. "Hup Beurig Hup" for the warm-up.
7:00 p.m. Opening by MdL Kölling and the MV Irsch.
9:00 p.m. Cover band "Party On". Afterwards DJ Dome.

Saturday
2:00 p.m. Motorcycle blessing with a star tour.
4:00 p.m. Children's program with creative magician, playmobile, and ice cream truck.
6:30 p.m. MY Ayl.
9:00 p.m. Cover band "Saftwerk".

Sunday
11:00 a.m. Frühschoppen concert "Urwahlener Bergkapelle".
Afterwards brass music from the music clubs and singing with Egon's "Neuer Generation".

The castle at the Saar

The once proud and powerful castle, one of the first and mightiest high castles in the West, was built in 964 by Count Siegfried of Luxembourg.

Evangelical Church

Saarburg

The Protestant Church beneath the castle is a distinctive feature of the city-scape. In 1893, the church was erected in the neo-Gothic style using yellow red sandstone.

Pilgrimage Church of St. Mary Saarburg

St Mary‘s pilgrimage church. The 15th century St Mary‘s pilgrimage church with its miraculous picture of the nursing madonna is located in the Beurig district.

Parish Church of St.Laurentius

Saarburg

A small cross chapel existed here as early as the 13th century, which was granted the right of baptism in 1370. Following several reconstructions, a new church was built in 1854, in the neo-Gothic style. The three-nave church was heavily damaged in 1944 and was rebuilt simplistically after the war; during this process, parts of the neo-Gothic style could be preserved. The interior of the church impresses with the “Grape Madonna” (around 1500), the baptismal font of stone (1575) as well as the stained-glass windows (1855).
