Sales-open Nutcracker Sunday in the city center of Saarburg.
On Nutcracker Sunday, the pre-Christmas season begins in Saarburg.
From 11 o'clock a.m. the city center is car-free and fills with market stalls: homemade mulled wine, waffles, tarte flambée, and more.
From 1 o'clock p.m. to 6 o'clock p.m. the Saarburg shops are open: owner-managed and with time for a conversation as well as genuine advice. From 2 o'clock p.m. live music plays in the city center, and for the little ones, the children's carousel spins.
To conclude, the St. Laurentius parish community invites you to a devotion at 6 o'clock p.m., after which the Martin's parade moves through the city. The final highlight is the Martin's fire in the city parking lot.
