Wine Trail Festival in Nittel

Experience wine in the vineyard!

The local and tourism association of Nittel e.V. invites all wine enthusiasts to the Nitteler vineyards on Easter Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. At 14 wine stands, along the 1.3 km long wine learning path, over 80 wines and sparkling wines will be presented.
Several food stalls will provide culinary delights.

Access: "Im Stolzenwingert 1" and the extension street "Im Blümchen".
The last admission to the event is at 5:00 p.m. The event will take place in any weather.

The entrance fee includes a glass and 20 tasting coupons for wines and sparkling wines from 13 different winegrowers and from the Elbling Friends Association of the Southern Wine Mosel e.V.
The ticket also serves as a train ticket in the VRT area (VRT combo ticket).

Welcome! Since 1752, the Dosterts and their ancestors have been cultivating vineyards on the southern Moselle. Originally, farming was also practiced alongside viticulture. Over the centuries, the winery evolved into its current form. Since 1993, a guesthouse has been operated alongside the winery.

The farm with its land was originally a monastery of the St Irminen monastery in Trier. Its eventful history goes back to the time of Napoleon. The keystone of the barn, which was built in 1807, bears witness to the expansion and was preserved even after the remodelling in 1956. The business is now run by the sixth generation of the family. Peter Leo Hein successfully completed the master farmer's examination before his apprenticeship as a winemaker and subsequent master winemaker.
