Saarburg Christmas Market

On the 2nd and 3rd Advent weekend, the Saarburg old town transforms into a festively illuminated Christmas world.

Around the shining Christmas tree above the Leukbach and the illuminated Buttermarkt, visitors can expect regional mulled wine, culinary specialties, handicrafts, and local products.
 
A special highlight is the ice skating rink at the Fruchtmarkt, which is open every day.
St. Nicholas, walking acts, music, children's programs, as well as performances by clubs and ensembles provide diverse entertainment.
Free city tours also invite you to get to know the historic old town better.

3:30 p.m. St. Nicholas arrives with the mini brass ensemble of the Beurig music club. Followed by a concert in the square.
6:00 p.m. Live music with Wayne Vincent.

1:00 p.m. Start of the Christmas market.
4:00 p.m. Medieval city tour*.
5:00 p.m. Live music with Marco Boesen.
