Westwallmuseum Wiltingen open

The Westwallmuseum Wiltingen consists of a Westwall bunker that was restored through private initiative: the artillery observation post.

The museum comprises a restored Westwall bunker, a “Regelbau 19” for a 6-man crew.
The bunker has an open observation post, a flanking position, and a combined combat and operations room.

Visitation is possible free of charge from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A hike on the Saar-Riesling trail can also be combined with a visit to the Westwall bunker.
The access road is signposted from Wiltingen.

Wiltingen

From April to October, the Wiltinger wine stand "mittwochs up der Gaas" opens every second Wednesday of the month. Wines from various Wiltinger winemakers are offered on the village square. The wine stand opens at 4 PM until open end in (almost) any weather.

Westwallmuseum Konz

The private museum consists of a listed restored bunker and a thematic exhibition on the West Wall.

The hiking trail is characterised by sunny vineyards, dense forests, idyllic stream valleys, lush mountain meadows and unique views of the Saar Valley.

3-Sculpture view

Wiltingen

From the 3-sculpture view you have a dreamlike view over the Saar valley near Schoden and Wiltingen. In the distance you can see the "Mercury" on the Goldberg in Wawern, the "Fire Jump" on the banks of the Saar in Wiltingen and the sculpture "Pasaggio Animato" on the Galgenberg in Wiltingen.

Fantastic view from Schoden over Wiltingen and Kanzem, to the narrow curves of the Konzer Kupp and all the way to Konz. The view down over the extreme steep slopes of the Wiltinger Hölle vineyard and deep into the Saar valley is dizzying.
