Threeland-Whisky

In the Wincheringen district of Bilzingen, in the Saargau between the Moselle and Saar rivers, the first single malt whisky from the Moselle is produced. With malted barley from Luxembourg and Germany, oak barrels from France, and production in Germany, the Threeland Whisky got its name. The slightly different taste or character results from aging in barrique wooden barrels that were previously used for Moselle wine.
