At the water sports centre in Schoden, you can hire canoes and discover the scenic beauty of the Saar valley in a completely new way. The most beautiful section is the Wiltinger Saarbogen between Schoden and the Kanzem lock, as the Saar is virtually untouched here and is also a nature reserve. What makes it so special are the lively rapids that really get the canoeing going. You will also be rewarded with unique landscape experiences such as river creeks, fields of water lilies and reed beds as well as diverse wildlife including grey herons, dragonflies and grass frogs.
