Exhibition: Molecular Kinship
28. June 2026
The Municipal Gallery of the Amusement Museum at the Waterfall in Saarburg presents a new exhibition starting June 28:
Under the title “Everything Flows”, Stuttgart artist Klaudia Dietewich showcases the impressive range of her photographic quest.
The opening takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the presence of the artist.
Interested parties are cordially invited.
Klaudia Dietewich considers herself a seeker of traces. For more than 20 years, she has traveled the world to document the subtle aesthetics of everyday remnants. Her focus is on colored markings, repairs, overpainting, and fragments on streets, squares, and in nature. In the patched, overlooked, and forgotten, she finds not only a unique beauty but also a parallel to the transience of our own existence. Her abstract asphalt and nature photographs stimulate the imagination: Viewers often believe they recognize concrete objects or landscapes – thus, the works become projection surfaces for their imagination.
The exhibition unites various facets and series from the artist's body of work.
Photography proves to be the medium in Dietewich's work that places the photographer's gaze as a creative force at its center and invites the audience to discover the world anew.
The exhibition can be visited until October 4, 2026, during the opening hours of the Amusement Museum from Sunday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
